Does your business or nonprofit need a straightforward training tool to ensure your employees or volunteers treat everyone fairly, no matter their background?
Would your book club like an easy read that sparks a lively discussion about how the human brain works and how we can treat everyone fairly?
Is your spiritual group looking for a way to have a focused discussion about how to show up with compassion and grace for other human beings?
Introducing the Get Curious Kit—an engaging and affordable training tool designed to help your team understand implicit bias. With this kit, your employees can learn to interact with customers, clients, and partners conscientiously to strengthen those relationships and your organization.
The kit includes copies of an engaging book that takes less than an hour to read, and story card decks with real-world situations to facilitate discussions that prepare your team to represent your business or organization well.
Our approach helps readers gain a deeper understanding of why we jump to conclusions, when the benefit of the doubt is warranted, and how to live by the value of fairness in our relationships—all within an atmosphere free from shame or blame.
Our story cards often evoke real-life memories, leading to rich and enlightening group discussions.

This package is all about YOU. It includes the Get Curious! book and story cards. While you might be tempted to rush to the story cards, the cards will make much more sense if you read the book first. We know the cards are hard to resist, but do your best!
We recommend that you set aside two hours in a quiet space where you can read the book (45 minutes – 1 hour) and think through the story cards. We also recommend that you include tea, coffee, chocolate, etc. – something that makes the time special and extra cozy.
Once you are done, set a time in your calendar to come back to the book and story cards three months later. When you do, think about what situations you’ve been in and what you have noticed. Continue repeating this process until it is not bringing new insights.
Consider sharing your book and story cards with others in your household. If you do that, you can have a family or group discussion every three months rather than just reflecting on your own.

what other people say about get curious:
"I believe it was well thought out. A good mix of science and situation. But not too long to scare away the curious or busy. It was fun for me to read the book and situation cards."
